Jeroen Kok
Director Payment & Mobility, Rebelgroup
In the last 24 years, Jeroen Kok has been working in more than 15 countries advising on, developing and implementing public transport payment systems in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. He is a RebelGroup partner, a member of the governmental advisory board for Infrastructure and Environment in the Netherlands, and the Chairman of the European Travelers Council. In 2001, he set up Trans Link Systems (TLS) in the Netherlands and was the CEO for 9 years. TLS established the first nationwide e-payment system for all public transport operators in Europe from bus to train to tram to metro lines. Jeroen is an economist and has worked both in the private and public sector, with transport ministry, transport operator and fare collection system provider boardroom level experience of over 24 years. After his initial years at the Department of Economic Affairs, he was asked by the Department of Transport to work on the High-Speed Rail link between Amsterdam and Paris where he was responsible for the procurement model and the tendering of the operations contract. Further, before starting up Trans Link Systems, Jeroen was director of the Department of Transport, managing a nationwide mobility program, including road pricing and stimulating public-private partnerships.
Dan Johnson
Vice President Digital Identity, Mastercard
Dan Johnson is vice president, Identity Products for Mastercard based in London. He is a key leader in Mastercard’s initiative to create an effective, efficient and principled model of digital identity in an increasingly connected world. His team is helping to define how a person’s identity, and the entities operating on their behalf, can be verified immediately, safely and securely, across multiple touchpoints in both the digital and physical worlds.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Mr. Johnson was head of digital identity at HSBC Digital Solutions, where he worked with the UK government and a public/private consortium to define a multi-sector, multi-jurisdiction digital identity ecosystem designed to streamline cross-border bank account opening. He has also held senior IT and project management roles at Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital and the General Medical Council.
Mr. Johnson’s career spans more than 20 years, predominantly in financial services, but also within the commercial and public sectors. Originally a COBOL programmer and software tester, he has designed and delivered global customer data management, account opening and financial product management systems.
Mr. Johnson holds a BSc Hons in Information Systems with German from Staffordshire University.
Simon Wood
Senior Partner Manager, CCV GmbH
Simon is a payments specialist who has been working in the mobility sector for over 10 years. He is part of the CCV unattended payment team, where they are working with a large number of the industry’s parking, vending, EV charging, petrol sales & public transport payment solution providers. Closely involved in the launch of mobile phone parking payment in the UK and subsequently working with suppliers to the largest European parking hardware manufacturers, Simon is well placed to understand the requirements of the sector during this period of evolution. Simon is based in Salisbury, UK, and works alongside colleagues based in Netherlands and Germany.
Steven Meredith
Leader of the Global Product Definition Team for eMobility, Innogy SE
Steven Meredith is leading international technical product teams for over 10 years now and brings new technology into European and American markets. Currently he is responsible for the eMobility product team in Europe for innogy eMobility, including AC and DC hardware, back office control software, technical services, product strategy, training and projects. Formerly Steven was head of product for SolarWorld AG and Americas introducing new technologies like PERC and Bifacial solar PV. Previously he worked at SHARP Electronics and was in charge of the product team for the Americas. Steven Meredith did his Bachelor and Master in Materials Engineering from Cal-Poly in San Luis Obispo.
