What is your role as Head of IT Services at CCV?
As Head of IT Services, you are responsible for developing and implementing tactical IT policies within the IT Services department. Leading a team of managers, leads and IT professionals in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, you are responsible for both daily operational management and strategic development. You make decisions in the areas of ICT, automation, security and system management within the framework of the approved policies, ensuring seamless integration and operations of IT solutions across the entire organization. Occasional limited (international) travel to other locations is included in this position. In your day-to-day work, you are responsible for adequately managing the risks in your processes and enhancing a risk culture in which employees understand their role when it comes to protecting CCV for unwanted risk exposure.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Advising the CTIO on analyses of daily operations and international developments.
- Leading the operational teams and coordinating the work processes within the department.
- Managing in close cooperation with Team Managers and Leads:
- the technological infrastructure regarding office automation and the transaction domain hosted on-premiss and cloud;
- the 24/7 Monitoring & support team;
- the Application Management team.
- Sponsor of some large projects with significant ICT share. Examples include the migration of several ERP systems to Microsoft Dynamics and a Datacenter relocation
- Responsibility for several implementation and innovation projects
- Sets KPIs and SLAs and reports on IT presentations and risks
- Aligns IT strategy with business objectives
- Ensuring the continuity, quality and security of automated information systems and compliance with established security standards
- Managing the department’s budget and preparing a clear and accurate periodic management reporting
- Encouraging knowledge sharing, creativity, talent development and initiatives within the team
- Keeping abreast of new IT related developments and future prospects
- Maintaining contact with internal departments and external suppliers to optimize collaboration and improve performance
- Sufficient IT knowledge in house to also challenge teams operationally and take decisions based on that knowledge
