Our responsibility
#WeCare
CCV carries great responsibility as a financial institution. Economically, ecologically and socially. With our #WeCare programme, we have set clear targets in each of these areas. Read all about it below and in our statement ‘corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability’ (available in English only).
Our objectives
By deeply embedding CSR in our daily business processes, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint and take the best possible care of our employees, business partners and the world around us.
Based on international thought leadership
We contribute to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and align our business to the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact.
Integrated in our daily business processes
All of our employees have ownership of their department’s #WeCare goals.
Anchored in the current context
Our strengths, weaknesses and aspirations inspired the current #WeCare programme.
A systematic company-wide programme
We aim to align each of our core processes with the principle of sustainable business, thus improving our businesses as a whole.
Oriented towards action and learning
We will take with us all learnings along this journey and use them as an opportunity to keep improving our CSR vision and programme.
Created in a participatory environment
#WeCare was built on rounds of close stakeholder consultations.
Built on CCV’s values
#WeCare was built on CCV core values; Connected, Reliable, Future-proof and Experienced. We are committed to honouring our legacy and improving ourselves for years to come.
