CCV and the European Accessibility Act (EAA)

How CCV makes payments accessible for everyone

At CCV, we believe everyone should be able to pay easily, no matter their (dis)ability. The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is an important step towards making payment solutions more inclusive. We’re here to help you understand what this means and how we are preparing for these changes. Together, we are shaping an inclusive future.

What is the European Accessibility Act (EAA)?

The EAA is a European law that sets requirements to make products like payment terminals and online services accessible to everyone. Starting June 28, 2025, all new payment solutions must meet these rules. The aim is to remove barriers to access for people with disabilities. Including those with visual impairments, motor impairments, cognitive challenges and hearing disabilities.

What does this mean for you?

How CCV is preparing for the EAA

At CCV, we see this as an opportunity to lead the way in accessibility. Here’s how we’re preparing for the EAA to help our customers and partners comply while fostering inclusivity for all.

We will add Accessibility Features to our payment terminals. These include voice instructions and easy-to-read screens.
